گارمین در جریان نمایشگاه CES از سه ساعت هوشمند جدید در سری ساعت های فنیکس خود پرده برداشته: Fenix5، Fenix5X و Fenix5S که بر خلاف ساعت های قبلی این کمپانی در برخی مدلها از

طراحی کوچک و ظریفی برخوردارند.

این سه مدل ,ساعت گارمین ، که قطر واچ فیس آن ها چیزی مابین 1.6 تا 2 اینچ بیشتر نیست، تقریبا 1.5 برابر از ساعت های سری Fenix3 قدیمی این کمپانی کوچک تر هستند. این ابعاد کوچک سبب شده که حتی موقع عوض کردن پیراهن هم لازم نباشد که آن ها را از مچ خود باز کنید.

باتری هر سه ساعت در مُد اسمارت واچ می تواند بین 8 روز تا دو هفته دوام بیاورد که این میزان بستگی به نوع استفاده دارد , در صورت استفاده مداوم از GPS به 13 الی 24 ساعت کاهش خواهد یافت. مثل دیگر محصولات گارمین، سری Fenix5 هم دارای ابزار اختصاصی پایش حرکات ورزشی بوده و ضد آب تا عمق 100 متری میباشد ، ضمنا سازگاری با پلتفرم Connect IQ گارمین نیز از دیگر خصوصیات این سه ساعت زیبا محسوب می شود.

اما خصوصیتی که آن ها را نسبت به دیگر محصولات گارمین متمایز کرده، ابعاد آنهاست. سری ساعت های فنیکس طوری طراحی شده اند که سبک تر و کوچک تر از دیگر اسمارت واچ های این کمپانی باشند.

به عنوان مثال Fenix5 با وجود قابلیت هایی همچون پایش حرکات ورزشی و ضربان قلب فقط 47 میلی متر قطر دارد. ضمنا برای این ساعت می توانید در صورت تمایل بندهای چرمی، فلزی و سیلیکونی بخرید. اما Fenix5S حتی از 5 هم کوچک تر بوده و فقط 42 میلی متر قطر دارد. گارمین نیز اعلام کرده که آن را به طور ویژه برای مچ های کوچک و ظریف و بانوان طراحی کرده است.

ساعت گارمین FENIX 5 در دو مدل صفحه نمایش با شیشه معمولی و یاقوت ضد خش ساخته شده است. اما در نهایت به Fenix5X می رسیم که با قطر 51 میلی متر بزرگترین ساعت این سری است. 5X از قابلیت های نقشه و مسیریابی ای بهره می برد که دو مدل دیگر آن را در اختیار ندارند. TOPO US و Around Me سرویس های نقشه ای هستند که در ساعت 5X می توانید از مزایای آن ها بهره مند شوید.

The built-in altimeter provides elevation data to accurately monitor ascent and descent, while the barometer can be used to predict weather changes by showing short-term trends in air pressure.
